What is
Know Your Number®?
“It takes your lab results and combines these results with
your family and personal medical history and your current
medical information and predicts the chances of your
developing a chronic disease over the next five years.”
What
prompted your company to decide to make use of Know Your
Number®?
“We care about our employees and wanted to do something to
address our employees’ health issues. We were going to
bring in a nurse and have a health clinic. This individual
would handle the basic medical needs of our employees and
provide ongoing health education. Know Your Number
was brought to my attention. I realized the impact it
could have in helping to educate and motivate our
employees. Like most companies, 20% of our employees
result in 80% of our health costs. We quickly realized the
proactive aspects Know Your Number would
afford all our employees.
When I ran it by our CFO he
immediately saw the benefits of Know Your Number
as proactive health awareness. It was in the best interest
of our employees’ health and their well-being. We did a
pilot with 500 employees, more than half were above or at
high risk. This fact got our attention, more than half!”
Why does your company use Know Your Number®?
“To educate our employees on the state of their health;
our employees are very important to us and we care about
them. When employees are healthier they are more
productive. We wanted to do something that would have a
positive impact on their lives. Know Your Number
has made an impact on our company because it has changed
how our employees view their health and what they can do
to improve it.”

services are too passive.”

Know Your Number’s competition?
“None, it’s a great service.”

Know Your Number® differ from current products/services on
the market?
“Takes a person’s lab results and graphically shows what
Chronic Diseases they could develop in the next 5 years.
It also shows how much they can reduce their risks.”
What are
the benefits of Know Your Number® to your employees?

chronic diseases they could develop and shows how they can
reduce the predicted outcome and it works, proactive not
passive.”
Do you
consider using Know Your Number® as a competitive edge?

our health claims also makes us more competitive; reduces
costs.”
Do you
consider BioSignia’s Know Your Number® an industry leader?
“Yes, it is a great service. Our plan is to have our
employee’s results from their Know Your Number
sent to their physician. This will be handled by a nurse.
The nurse will also follow-up with the employee. It is
proactive healthcare and in the best interest of our
employees. If an employee is high risk, we will arrange
for more regular testing. It is important for our
employees to see results.”
Do you
consider Know Your Number® a “need” or a “want” regarding
your healthcare services?
“Need, I can see from my Know Your Number
graphs what I need to address and see the results of what
I’ve done to improve my health. When I saw my graphs from
my lab results I knew I had to do something. When I saw my
second set of results and how much I reduced my levels and
saw the graphs, I knew I was in control of my health and
moving in the right direction. It let me know that I can
improve my health.”
Has Know
Your Number® made a difference in how you view your
health?
“Yes, because I want to live longer. I’m 60 years old.
Today 60 is equal to being 40 years ago. Know Your
Number lets me know what I have to work on and
shows me my progress in reaching my goal.”
